Last year, it was announced that Disney Media Distribution Latin America planned to produce a show about Juan Gabriel’s life. But back in June, we only knew that it would be titled Hasta que te conocí and that it would be 13 episodes long. Flash forward to today, and we now know that Julián Román will be portraying a young Juanga. The Colombian actor was handpicked by Juanga, according to Latin Times.
Obviously, Juan Gabriel is a genius in all aspects, because regularly Román looks like this:
But when in full El Divo de Juarez regalia, he is a pretty convincing Juanga.
Román didn’t mention a release date for the series; he just said it would be coming soon. But he has shared a few behind-the-scenes shots while filming in Mexico.
