At some point, Pitbull took over the world. From his origins as a scrappy Miami rapper donning oversized tees and fitted caps, he’s grown into an unrelenting factory of dance club superhits who now also happens to dress like a dapper yachtsman. With a handful of platinum albums and even more number one singles, Pit is truly a global music phenomenon. So any Shakespearean soap opera about hip-hop executives navigating the choppy waters of the music industry should probably  feature the Cuban-American in a guest starring role at some point, right?

Well, apparently for season two of Fox’s runaway ratings juggernaut, Empire, creator Lee Daniels got the memo and booked Miami’s native son Armando Christian Pérez for a guest appearance and – why not? – a special performance of one of his recent chart toppers. Currently, Fox has not publicized a date for Mr. Bull’s guest appearance, so we guess you’ll just have to watch all the episodes and hope to run into him. While you’re at it, you’ll have the chance to catch New York-born Bori-Cubano Adam Rodriguez in a recurring role as Cookie’s love interest.

Empire returns to Fox for its second season on September 23, 2015.
