Actress Stephanie Beatriz has her ticket punched for the 94th annual Academy Awards this Sunday (March 27). The Encanto star was invited to be a presenter at the ceremony.

“Cool cool cool cool cool no doubt no doubt,” Beatriz commented on Instagram alongside a list of the other presenters who were announced with her.

Other Latines invited over the last few weeks include John Leguizamo, Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o and Oscar nominee Rosie Perez, who was invited back to the Oscars for the first time since she was nominated for an award herself 28 years ago.

Beatriz had an incredible year last year as the voice of lead character Mirabel Madrigal in the Oscar-nominated animated feature Encanto and as Carla in the live-action musical In the Heights. On the Encanto soundtrack, Beatriz sings on the tracks “The Family Madrigal,” “Waiting on a Miracle,” “All of You,” “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and “What Else Can I Do?”

It was revealed earlier this month that when Beatriz was recording “Waiting on a Miracle,” she was in labor with her first child.

“I didn’t want to tell anybody at Disney because I didn’t want anyone to freak out,” Beatriz told Variety, “But I was already having some contractions when we were scheduled to record that day. I was like, ‘Well, fingers crossed I finish the song before [the baby] comes!’”

News of Stephanie Beatriz’s invite to the Oscars ceremony was met online with plenty of compliments. Congratulations came from fellow Encanto castmates like Diana Guerrero, Wilmer Valderrama, and Jessica Darrow, who commented with, “Das right baby.”
