If you can’t meet your favorite Latine celebrities in person, visiting one of the many Madame Tussauds wax museums around the world just might be the next best thing.

Each year, the world-renowned venues add to their collections and give fans the opportunity to take pictures with wax figures representing talented individuals in film and TV, sports, music, history, and more.

Some of the Latines who have been immortalized by Madame Tussauds over the years include Selena Gomez, Sofia Vergara, Mariah Carey, Lionel Messi, Jennifer Lopez, Zoe Saldaña, and Eva Longoria, among others. Now Bad Bunny joins the fray.

Currently, statues for Maluma and Anitta are being created and should be unveiled sometime this year. Each figure takes approximately six months to be completed and is worked on by at least 20 artists. When completed, Maluma’s figure will be featured at Madame Tussauds in Orlando while Anitta’s will find a home in New York City.

Here’s a closer look at eight Latine wax figures that are currently housed at a Madame Tussauds near you.

1

Bad Bunny

The international reggaeton superstar unveiled two wax figures at the Madame Tussauds wax museum in New York – Times Square in April 2022. The first features Bad Bunny dressed in the outfit he wore during his 2021 Wrestlemania debut – a long, black leather jacket with gray pants and shoes and a long-sleeve black shirt. The other, is the outfit he wore during his 2020 Super Bowl performance – a long, silver jacket with matching pants, shoes and durag. The jacket is covered in silver gemstones and some of the stones are lined up under his eyes.

2

Selena

The late Queen of Tejano was honored with a wax figure at the Madame Tussauds in Hollywood and New York in 2017. Both statues are dressed in a bustier, an outfit the singer was known for wearing when performing on stage. “I’m very proud that Selena is still being loved, not only by Latinos, but all cultures,” Selena’s sister Suzette Quintanilla told NBC News at the unveiling of the statue. “There are many different people that love Selena and I’m ecstatic about it.”

3

Adriana Lima

In 2015, the supermodel was introduced in wax form at the Madame Tussauds in New York. Her wax figure was dressed in red lingerie and wearing red angel wings. It’s a look Lima was known for when she strutted across the catwalk for Victoria’s Secret. “They measured every point of my body to make sure they had everything right,” Lima told Vogue in 2015. “I had to stand in heels in the pose almost the whole time. It wasn’t easy, but I am so happy about how it came out.”

4

Carmelo Anthony

It’s not as sweet as winning an NBA championship, but getting a wax figure made in your likeness isn’t something everyone gets to see during their lifetime. Anthony got his in 2012 when he was still a member of the New York Knicks. Since then, he’s played with Oklahoma City, Houston, and Portland. If the jersey isn’t made out of wax, maybe they can change it out for one in purple and gold. Until then, see Anthony scare unsuspecting people at Madame Tussauds.

5

Danny Trejo

Machete himself was celebrated with the unveiling of a wax figure at the Hollywood museum. Dressed in black pants, black shoes, and showing off his famous chest tattoo, the statue of the Trejo is also wielding a machete covered in blood.  We’re sure a wax sculpture can’t decapitate heads like his vigilante character, but we’ll stand back nonetheless. “I’ve been killed more times than anybody in the movies,” Trejo said. “But you know what? I’m immortal at Madame Tussauds.”

6

Pitbull

The rapper saw his wax figure go on display in Orlando in 2015. That same year, he released his ninth album, Dale. The black tuxedo the statue wears was donated to the museum by the rapper himself. “Looking back, it was a great experience to sit with the Madame Tussauds artists who worked hard to capture every detail,” Pitbull said in a release at the time. “Having been born and raised in Florida, it truly is an honor to have this figure in Orlando.”

7

Alessandra Ambrosio

In late 2019, the supermodel presented her wax figure in New York City. After dropping the curtain, Ambrosio stepped up to her wax doppelganger and looked at it square in the eyes. “It’s so funny,” she told the cameras. “It’s so intense that look she gives.” Later, she posted a photo of her with her statue and wrote, “What an exciting day. So honored to get another figure and this time at my second home #NYC.”

8

Ricky Martin

The “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer saw his wax figure welcomed into the Las Vegas museum in 2014. It’s permanent home ended up at the Orlando location. For his statue, Martin selected the clothes himself. “It was such an incredible experience to take part in the Madame Tussauds process,” Martin said. “I’m truly amazed at how much work has gone into making this figure as authentic as possible.”
