On Oct. 17, the Latin Recording Academy announced the performers for the 23rd annual ceremony next month. The stage at the 2022 Latin Grammy Awards is set to have some big players from the industry perform, but not until after the winners are announced and have their moment at the podium.

The Academy released the roster for the 2022 Latin Grammys, including Rauw Alejandro and Sebastián Yatra performing on Nov. 19 at the Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas, NV. All the performers are current nominees, with some being past nominees and winners of both Latin Grammy awards and Grammy Awards. The 2022 Best New Artist nominee and “Agua” singer, Rauw Alejandro, is up for eight nominations, including Record of the Year and Song of the year. Also nominated for those awards is Yatra.

Also performing this year is Chiquis. Her album Abeja Reina is nominated for Best Banda Album. Mexican duo Jesse & Joy, who have won six Latin Grammy awards and one Grammy award in the past, will perform at the event too. They are nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album of the year.

This year’s Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year is the king of timeless romantic ballads, Marco Antonio Solís. The singer is a five-time Latin Grammy Award winner and six-time Grammy nominee. The special recognition as this year’s person of the year is sure to make El Buki’s performance extra special (keep your eyes peeled for that standing ovation).

One look at the nominees in the rest of the categories for this year could have fans across the board hope for some surprise performances along the way. Bad Bunny, for example, might celebrate a win, given he’s leading with 10 nominations in seven categories, including Album of the Year. Other nominees that could deliver a performance include Shakira, Becky G, and Bomba Estéreo.

Music fans can expect to watch what will surely be an incredible performance on Univisión. The show will air on Nov. 17, 2022, at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CT).
