Are Bad Bunny fans and Swifites in for a surprise? On Sep. 6, social media users surfaced videos and photos of Bad Bunny and Taylor Swift entering and exiting the Electric Lady Studios in New York City. Now, the two fan bases are speculating that the duo is up to something.
Though an official collaboration isn’t confirmed, on-site spectators uploaded photos of both Benito and Swift walking in and out of the music studio separately. Social media users also uploaded videos of Benito walking into the studio and leaving. The Puerto Rican artist is seen wearing a hooded sweater and jean shorts. The American singer-songwriter is decked out in a navy blue collared shirt and jean shorts. Both Benito and Swift have previously recorded in the famous studio.
Fans are over the moon thinking of the musical possibilities the two could potentially come up with. A social media user wrote: “The streets are saying Bad Bunny Taylor Swift collab 👀. Pls be true 😭.” Another social media user echoed the same sentiment: “bad bunny and taylor swift in the same studio? OH MY GOD.”
“SO TAYLOR SWIFT AND BAD BUNNY WERE IN THE STUDIO TOGETHER TODAY,” another fan posted with a photo of a person with an inhaler, to show their exhilaration.
Other social media users are not so happy about the artists potentially collaborating. An online user wrote: “I just hope it’s a fake collab between Taylor Swift and bad Bunny.” Another user said: “i do not authorize taylor swift’s collaboration with bad bunny 🚫🚫🚫🚫.”
Whether or not the collaboration sees light, we know that Benito and Swift are connected. In fact, this isn’t the first time the two icon’s fanbases have caused a commotion on the internet. During the 65th GRAMMY Awards earlier this year, the two artists met and took photos together, which later went viral together. Videos also captured Swift dancing to Benito’s performance.
