Bad Bunny’s music can be heard everywhere, and that now includes from the popular online game, Fortnite. Big hits from Latinx superstars can be heard in the game.

In the Joyride update of Fortnite Battle Royale, Epic Games added some hot rides that players can drive around town in. When the car radio is turned on, players can listen to the music of Bad Bunny, his friendly Puerto Rican rival Anuel AA, and his Colombian mentor J Balvin.

Among the Bad Bunny hits are his quarantine perreo anthem “Yo Perreo Sola” from this year’s YHLQMDLG album. Cardi B’s “I Like It,” the Dominican-American rapper’s Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin, is also included. That song was lifted from her 2018 debut album, Invasion of Privacy.

Along with “I Like It,” J Balvin’s “Amarillo” from his latest album Colores can be heard in the cars in Fortnite. That funky standout was produced by Balvin’s longtime collaborator Sky Rompiendo and French EDM act DJ Snake.

Anuel AA’s collaboration “Hasta Que Dios Diga” with Bad Bunny from his Emmanuel album is also on the radio station’s playlist. The two rappers famously worked on each other’s albums this year. Anuel is featured on Benito’s “Está Cabrón Ser Yo” on YHLQMDLG.

With video games becoming the newest vehicle for music promotion, it’s refreshing to see that Latin music is part of the mix. Hopefully more games take notice of how Bad Bunny, J Balvin, and Anuel AA are taking reggaetón to new places (and formats).
