Bad Bunny and Jhay Cortez team up and flex their luxurious lifestyles to win over the women of their eyes on the rapper’s new single, “Dákiti.”

“Dákiti” is Bad Bunny’s first taste of new music since the May release of his mixtape album Las Que No Iban a Salir, and it’s a dark dance floor banger. This is the Puerto Rican superstar’s third time working with the Boricua singer-songwriter following their remixes for “No Me Conoce” and “Cómo Se Siente.”

Bad Bunny produced “Dákiti” with Cortez and hitmaker Tainy. Mora, who he previously teamed up with on “Una Vez,” is one of the song’s co-writers. Whereas YHLQMDLG had a throwback perreo sound, “Dákiti” sounds like the reggaetón of the future with a chilling synth edge.

The music video for “Dákiti” was directed by Stillz, who has worked on most of Bad Bunny’s recent visuals like “Yo Perreo Sola.” The guys party beachside alongside plenty of women. Benito looks like a rock star with his curls braided-up and his skirt on. It’s a pretty artistic and intense video that matches the mood of the song.

The most jarring moment of the music video is the finale when a big rig truck rolls by with the message: “El Último Tour Del Mundo.” Bad Bunny has been teasing a possible early retirement for a while, so maybe the end is really near.
