Bad Bunny has confirmed his partnership with Cheetos yesterday (Oct. 27). The Puerto Rican superstar will be teaming up with the Frito-Lay brand for the “Deja Tu Huella” campaign.

On Friday, Bad Bunny was spotted in Boyle Heights appearing to film a commercial for Cheetos. He was seen with Hot Cheetos in-hand and many people in the city came out to see him. Benito will have a special collaboration with Chester Cheetah drop during this year’s American Music Awards.

“I’ve been so fortunate to be able to embrace my roots and culture and express it through music and entertainment,” Bad Bunny said in a statement. “I want to encourage others to be passionate in whatever they set their mind to. Deja tu huella!”

Deja Tu Huella is a campaign by Cheetos to celebrate and uplift the Latino community. Cheetos said Bad Bunny has “an anthem behind this cultural movement” that will air during the American Music Awards on Nov. 22. Cheetos also teamed up with the awards to expand the Latin music categories to include Favorite Male Artist, Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Song, and Favorite Album.

In collaboration with Bad Bunny’s Good Bunny Foundation, Cheetos will also give back to the Latino community with a $500,000 commitment.

“On the heels of Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re proud to kick off a campaign that pays tribute to the Latinos who are pushing boundaries and rewriting the rules,” said Marissa Solis, SVP of Frito-Lay North America’s marketing. “And, we’ll have a lot of along the way when we see what Mr. Bunny and Mr. Chester have in store for fans this November.”
