And to think he wasn’t gonna release these songs: Bad Bunny’s Los Que No Iban a Saliris currently the No.1 album on Apple Music, making Benito the first Latino to achieve a No.1 debut on Apple’s All-Genre charts. Benito posted the news to his IG stories on Monday. As of this morning, he’s still at the top.

The 10-track collection came as a surprise Sunday, even though he’d revealed bits and pieces of the record during his epic, kinda drunk, super casual, a little goofy and very long (three hours) IG live performance the night of May 2.

He’s ahead of Kehlani’s It Was Good Until it Wasn’t, a Little Richard hits comp that’s soaring in the wake of the rock ‘n’ roll pioneer’s passing, as well as the solo debut of Paramore’s Hayley Williams.

Only two of these cutting-floor tracks, “Bad Con Nicky” and “Pa’ Romperla” (with Don Omar) have eked into the top 200 songs on Apple Music’s top songs chart, though. That implies that Bad Bunny stans are listening to this grouping of resurrected gems from start to finish—again and again and again.
