On September 14-18, the ninth edition of the popular Bogota Music Market, better known as BOmm, is taking place, and it’s going digital for the first time. Organized by Bogota Chamber of Commerce and supported by Idartes and Clúster de Música, the market is opening its doors to all music industry workers and artist interested in information and education to help take their careers to the next step, all online and free of charge.

BOmm kicks off today, and the music market is holding an inauguration event that will be livestreamed on its official website, YouTube channel, and Facebook page. Here, over 25 personalities from the Latin American music world, including Andrea Echeverri, Carlos Vives, Andrés Cepeda, and representatives from Billboard and Discos Intolerancia, among others, will tackle issues related to the impact of the current COVID-19 pandemic in the music sector and the possible courses of actions that could be taken to reactivate it.

The program includes their signature business round tables, where 250 artists will be able to connect with 100 agents and over 190 national and international buyers, spread in four sessions. Talks and workshops are also in the menu, addressing important topics such as management, publishing, and digital distribution, among others. To bring the live music to the conversation, we’ll be able to enjoy 19 showcases from bands and artists like Don Tetto, Romperayo, Tribu Baharú, and more.
