Despite reports of Cardi B’s indictment on charges stemming from a strip club incident in August of 2018, the 26-year-old rapper let nothing slow her down on Sunday as she performed “Clout” and “Press” at the BET Awards.

Cardi even took time during her energized and near-flawless performance to let fans know she has no intention of serving any jail time, as she repeatedly chanted “I ain’t going to jail.”

To top off her evening, she even took home the BET Award for Album of the Year for 2018’s Invasion of Privacy, making her the second woman to snag the award in the category’s short, three year history.

Here’s hoping everything works out for Belcalis.
