Cardi B has never been one to hold back her potent dislike of many of our government’s decisions. She’s openly criticized Donald Trump – calling him a terrorist – and even joked about moving to Nigeria after the president ordered a drone hit that resulted in the death of top Iranian general Qassem Soleimani.

But now, La Caldi has taken her complaints a step further, and is considering becoming a part of the solution – by possibly running for office one day. On Sunday, Cardi took to Twitter to post her thoughts on her political future. “I think I want to be a politician. I really love government even tho I don’t agree with [government],” the “Money” singer tweeted. “Like I was watching War documentaries. No matter how many weapons a country have you need people ! How are you trying to go against a country and possibly start a war when this country lacks patriotism? I barely see people claiming they LOVE being American,” she added.

And if anyone thought she was being tongue-in-cheek with her comments, she followed up with a serious reaffirmation. “I do feel like if I go back to school and focus up I can be part of Congress .I deadass have sooo [many] ideas that make sense. I just need a couple of years of school and I can shake the table.”

Here’s hoping La Caldi comes through with a game-changing political campaign sometime in the future.
