Mercedes Cabra Joglar, the Puerto Rico artist better known as iLe, is going on the road to kick off her 2020, and you won’t want to miss her live. The former Calle 13 member –whose 2016 album iLevitable was included on our Best Spanish-Language & Latin Albums of the Decade list– has just announced a 15-date tour throughout North America, starting in Chicago on February 4, in support of her 2019 album Almadura.

We can expect an energetic, flavorful live show featuring iLe’s Puerto Rican band, as the Boricua artist revealed to Billboard. Almadura, her sophomore full-length that tackles subjects of machismo and colonization, was recently nominated for the 2020 Grammy Awards on the Best Latin, Rock, Urban or Alternative Album category.
