It is a question that a lot of J Balvin fans are pondering today. Could it be that the “In Da Getto” singer and Ed Sheeran are working on a collaboration? Interesting question, am I right? The evidence is compelling and is out there for the world to see.
Balvin posted this picture to his social media account. It is of him and Sheeran with the caption “Amistad primero, negocios después, la persona guía la vibra correcta. Love Ed Sheeran 🙏.” That translates to “Friendship first, business after, the person guides the right vibe. Love Ed Sheeran 🙏”
The post is only a few hours old and already has over a million likes and over 62,000 comments. Other than a repost to his Instagram stories, Ed Sheeran has not commented on or given any other clues.
Here is what we know about both artists. Balvin has announced an upcoming tour to go along with his newly released album JOSE. He has spent the last three weekends in Las Vegas performing shows with the likes of Karol G, Jhay Cortez, and Rauw Alejandro. In between that, he made his first appearance at the Met Gala with an outfit that is still being talked about.
Sheeran has also announced an upcoming tour to coincide with his new album that drops next month.
So, what gives? It isn’t that far out of the realm of possibility? Balvin has dozens of collaborations with musicians of all types to his name. Is there a meeting of the musical minds in the future?
