Supersonico, the Alt. Latino music festival and “cultural happening,” returns to Los Angeles for its second year with headliners Aterciopelados at a new venue.
The Hollywood Palladium will be home to all the fun with artists like Dengue Dengue Dengue, El Mato Un Policia Motorizado, Chancha Via Circuito, Mexican Institute Of Sound, Torreblanca, and Kinky scheduled to perform.
Besides Andrea Echevarri and Aterciopelados, the women will represent hard at this year’s festival with Ximena Sariñana, La Mala Rodriguez, and Hello Seahorse!, led by Denise Gutierrez, on the bill.
Also of note are cholo-goth outfit Prayers making their festival debut and the we-thought-they-retired-duo Nortec Presents Bostich + Fussible.
