Meet Los Manglers, a new-but-not-really band from Puerto Rico making simple throwback rock. Comprised of players from other local bands (e.g. Dandy and the Walkers, Fantasmes), Los Manglers features strong vocals by Laira Díaz, harking back to an era of brassy female leads and head-bobbing doo-wop melodies, while the music remains entrenched in Americana and ‘60s rock.
