On Tuesday, during one of her frequent Instagram Live broadcasts, Cardi B was blasting “Odio,” the Romeo Santos and Drake collaborative banger, pointing out she wanted to attend the Domincan bachata superstar’s show at the New Jersey stop of his UTOPIA tour on September 21 at the MetLife Stadium. And just as if she had summoned the genie in the lamp, Santos himself popped up on the comments to ask her if she would go to the concert. Thanks to Instagram user fuegoalalata1, her reaction has been captured for us to relive over and over again.
“Oh my God! Romeo Santo’s on my Instagram! He’s on my Instagram!” screamed Cardi as soon as she realized the artist had joined her transmission. In response, he wrote: “I’m going to see you this Saturday at the Utopia concert?” We are positive by now she must have been taken care of.
Cardi B has previously shown her love for Romeo Santos and Aventura. She once filmed herself singing the Aventura hit “Angelito,” and in 2018 she joined Santos on stage in their respective hometown New York City during his Golden Tour stop at Madison Square Garden to perform “Bodak Yellow.” We’re crossing our fingers for this Instagram interaction to turn into a new live invitation.
