You can now add Bad Bunny to the list of artists who love Peso Pluma. During the first weekend of the Coachella music festival, the Puerto Rican superstar posted a video of him listening to one of Peso Pluma’s hit songs. Benito’s rumored new flame Kendall Jenner was possibly listening to the corrido tumbado song as well.

On Sunday morning (Apr. 16), Bad Bunny posted a video to his Instagram stories where he listened to “AMG.” That is a collaboration by Gabitos Ballesteros, Natanael Cano, and Peso Pluma. While driving a golf cart, Bad Bunny can be seen singing along to the song. Jenner’s hair presumably flies in his face in the video, and also she appears to jokingly say, “You’re going to kill us.”

Bad Bunny also hung out with Peso Pluma. The Mexican rapper and singer posted a selfie with the Coachella headliner. Maybe a collaboration between the two artists can be in the works for the future?

Bad Bunny singing along to Peso Pluma’s music isn’t the first time that he has supported regional Mexican music. Back in 2019, he jumped on a remix of Cano’s breakthrough hit “Soy El Diablo.” The collaboration marked an important moment of visibility for the emerging corridos tumbados genre. Moreover, Bad Bunny teamed up with the Mexican-American band Grupo Frontera for a new song, “un x100to.”

Peso Pluma was spotted supporting other regional Mexican music acts over Coachella weekend. He met with and took a photo with sad sierreño singer DannyLux. Becky G invited him onstage during her Coachella set to perform their collaboration “Chanel.” The song is the first taste of her upcoming regional Mexican music album.

Peso Pluma has become one of the year’s breakthrough Latine stars. He currently has five songs on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 chart. Last week, Peso Pluma became the first Mexican artist to cross over 30 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
