The music video is finally out! On Apr. 6, Becky G released the music video for “Chanel,” her highly-anticipated collaboration with the emerging Mexican singer and rapper Peso Pluma.

“‘CHANEL’ VIDEO CON @pesopluma YA ESTÁ DISPONIBLE!!! 💕,” the Mexican-American  songstress wrote in an Instagram post. “Thank you for all of the love on the song so far! WE LOVE YOUUUU 🫶🏽✨.”

The music video, directed by Ricky Alvarez, features the two stars crooning their heartbreak verses in a minimalistic outdoor setting. The golden hour-toned visuals show Becky on a classic ape-hanger bicycle, dressed in a cropped Raiders sports jersey and her signature hoop earrings. In one frame, she’s holding and petting a rooster; in another, we see her riding a white horse.

On the other hand, Peso sings about losing a lover while on a rooftop, sporting dark sunglasses. We also see him singing in front and on the bed of a classic beige truck. Toward the end of the video, the two popular artists playfully dance in sync of the corrido tumbado’s beat on a rooftop.

Social media users across the artists’ platforms are enjoying the exciting collaboration. A YouTube user, yagirl, wrote: “My Becky always innovating and making new music no matter the genre❤.” An Instagram user, noreth15, wrote: “She is a complete artist … love the different style.”

Becky G is currently busy preparing for her Coachella shows on Apr. 14 and 21, on top of working on her upcoming regional Mexican album. Fans speculate that Peso Pluma could be a special guest during her performance. Though there’s no actual confirmation, the emerging rapper said during an interview, “We are doing something with Becky G. We were invited to a very special event that we hope to go to in April.” Peso will also play his first-ever U.S. show this weekend (Apr. 8) in Ontario, CA.
