Bad Bunny closed his World’s Hottest Tour with a cherry on top: he finally brought out his close friend Gabriela Berlingeri to sing the massive hit “El Apagón” on the final show date in Mexico City. The tour’s last performances took place at the Estadio Azteca on Dec. 9 and 10 – but she wasn’t the only surprise guest this weekend!

If you’ve followed Benito’s tour this year, you’ve noticed that he’s had surprise guests that contributed to his recent album Un Verano Sin Ti and past collaborators. Though Berlingeri was in attendance for a few tour stops, fans wondered if she would actually perform the song live. To our surprise, she finally did it at the tour’s final stop in Mexico City. After Benito exits the stage, the boricua makes her way to the center with a shimmery, two-piece green fit dancing and singing  her verse. As she took her spotlight, the crowd cheered loudly once they realized her unexpected appearance.

Other special guests that night (Dec. 10) include Sech, Ñengo Flow, Jowell & Randy, Rauw Alejandro, Arcángel, Buscabulla, and Bomba Estéreo.

On the first performance (Dec. 9), his special guests included Chencho Corleone, Mora, Sech, Jowell & Randy, Jhayco, Buscabulla, and Bomba Estéreo. Benito also gave a tribute to Juan Gabriel by putting on “Querida” before he continued her set list with “Si Estuviésemos Juntos.”

“WOW!!! WHAT A NIGHT!!! THANK YOU MEXICO!!!! THANK YOU AMERICA FOR THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!! I LOVE YOU WITH MY LIFE!!!! I WILL CARRY THIS TOUR IN MY HEART FOREVER!!!! LONG LIVE LATIN AMERICA!!!! QUE VIVA LA MÚSICA EN ESPAÑOL!!! att. BENITO, FROM PUERTO RICO TO THE ENTIRE WORLD!,” he wrote on social media after his performances.

What an epic end to his Un Verano Sin Ti tour era! What’s next for Bad Bunny? Next year, he’s going to take a break for himself.

“I’m taking a break. 2023 is for me, for my physical health, my emotional health to breathe, enjoy my achievements,” he told Billboard. “We’re going to celebrate. Let’s go here, let’s go there, let’s go on the boat. I have a couple of sporadic commitments, and I’ll go to the studio, but there’s no pressure. Remember yourself, cabrón. You’ve worked your ass off.”
