An upcoming song from Karol G could be why she unarchived her old posts with ex-Anuel AA on Instagram. On Saturday (Sept. 17), the Colombian superstar shared a snippet of a song, talking about wanting to get back together with an old flame.
Earlier this month, fans were surprised to see old posts of Karol G with her ex Anuel AA on her Instagram feed. Last year, the couple broke up, and since then, Karol G has been rumored to be coupled up with fellow Colombian singer Feid. Anuel AA, for his part, is married to Dominican rapper Yailin La Más Viral.
Karol G recently took to Twitter to explain why her pictures with Anuel are back on her feed after fans questioned the move. “Deleting some pictures from a social media platform doesn’t delete the history, nor what was experienced, that’s why they were always there and will remain there,” she wrote in Spanish.
Now, there’s speculation that the unarchived posts might have to do with an upcoming song. On TikTok, the “MAMIII” singer shared a clip of a song possibly titled “Porno.” As Karol G stares into the camera, the song plays in the background until she flashes a sly smile. In English, the lyrics translate to: “I won’t delete your contact and I’ll be waiting in case we get back together.” She posted to TikTok on Saturday, which was Valentine’s Day in Colombia.
While the context for the song remains unclear, fans are excited online for Karol G to hopefully release it soon. “New obsession unlocked!! Thank you Karol G. I love you so much and I’m waiting anxiously for this big hit,” wrote a fan on Twitter. “Could Porno be the continuation of DVD??? I need answers!!” another fan speculated.
Karol G is currently on her $trip Love Tour in the U.S. Her next album is expected to drop later this year.
