Update Aug. 7: It’s finally official! Karol G and Peso Pluma are set to release their collaboration called “QLONA.” “QLONA” is part of Karol G’s upcoming album Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season), which will be out on Friday (Aug. 11).
Peso Pluma’s upcoming collaboration with Karol G may be coming sooner than we think. On Aug. 6, the Mexican singer teased a snippet from their forthcoming collaboration, and fans can’t wait to listen to the full track.
On an Instagram story, Peso Pluma is seen mouthing Karol’s words from what is presumed to be their upcoming joint track. He’s wearing sunglasses and a white cap on backward, singing the lyrics: “Ayer te vi solita, esa carita bonita / ¡diablo!, qué mamacita.” He captioned the video with four emojis, including a pink flower and eyes: “😮💨🌸👀🤫.” He also tagged the “TQG” singer.
This isn’t the first time the upcoming collaboration has been teased. In late June, the Colombian superstar attended a Jacquemus show during Paris Fashion Week in France. Later, she posted an Instagram slideshow of her in a white dress paired with a red bag. On the same slideshow, she included a video of her posing for the cameras, with the same snippet of the collaboration as the media’s soundtrack. Peso Pluma reposted the teaser of the song with music notes on it at the time.
Fans of both artists are excited about the new collaboration. A social media user wrote: “I heard Karol G coming with a new song w/ Peso Pluma 🤗 this better NOT be a joke.” Another social media user commented: “Peso Pluma and Karol G together in a song is going to be everything I can’t wait for the album 😭😭.”
Karol G’s set to release her new album Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season) this Friday, Aug. 11. Fans are speculating that the new collaboration with the Mexican rapper will be part of it. Others are speculating a new song with Young Miko too.
Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season)’s official track list will be unveiled today (Aug. 7) at noon PST. Moreover, Karol will start her highly-anticipated Mañana Será Bonito Tour at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV, on Aug. 10.
