Premios Juventud is getting even more exciting. Today (July 6), in an exclusive to Remezcla, it was revealed that Wisin & Yandel will be receiving this year’s Agents of Change Award at the ceremony. Also announced was the award show’s second wave of performers.

“Wisin y Yandel will be awarded the Agents of Change Award (Premio Agente De Cambio) for their invaluable contribution to music and social humanitarian causes that drive change for the better in the Latin community and the world,” the press statement read.

The prominent reggaeton duo is also up for three nominations: “Favorite Group or Duo Of The Year,” and Wisin for “The Perfect Mix” and “Social Dance Challenge.” This comes just as the “Mayor Que Usted” singers are wrapping up their musical trajectory as a duo after two decades.

Moreover, the upcoming and highly-anticipated award show also unveiled this year’s second set of performers. In addition to Danna Paola, Prince Royce, and  Ángela Aguilar, the emerging Puerto Rican-Colombian star Alejo is set to perform the television debut of “Pantysito” alongside Feid and Robi. Other performances include El Alfa, who’s nominated for six categories, who will sing a medley of his hits “Gogo Dance,” “La Mama De La Mama,” and “La Romana.” The two-time nominated Mexican Regional band La Adictiva Banda San José de Mesillas will also perform the television debut of “Eso Es La Riqueza” with Lenin Ramírez.

Other performers include Luis Figueroa performing “Vienes,” Luis Vázquez with “Tu Fan,” Manny Cruz singing “Santo Domingo,” and Michael Stuart with “Bailemos,” who will be joined by the music director of the performance Sergio George, who will be joining in the piano. Yahaira Plasencia will also perform a reimagined cover of Ruben Blades’ classic “La Cantante.”

Moreover, the aforementioned six artists will also perform El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico’s hits “Que Le Pongan Salsa,” “No Hay Cama Pa’ Tanta Gente,” and “La Fiesta De Pilito.”

Premios Juventud will be televised on Thursday, July 21 at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT on Univision.
