YouTube Music Reveals This Summer’s Top Songs & Bad Bunny Heads

On Aug. 23, Youtube Music revealed this year’s top 10. U.S. songs and top 10 global songs that ruled this summer. Along with the chart unveil, they launched their newest “Summer Recap” feature allowing users to reminisce about their most played artists, songs, albums, and playlists. Who was everyone listening to this season? From Bad Bunny to Karol G, these are the Latine artists that made both lists. 

Both lists mentioned above were led by Bad Bunny’s global hit “Tití Me Preguntó,” demonstrating yet again that he’s one of the most listened to artists in mainstream media today. He made the “Top Ten Songs – U.S.” list with not only one but two hits from Un Verano Sin Ti. The No. 3 went to his collaboration with Chencho Corleone, “Me Porto Bonito.” However, he’s not the only Latine artist on the list. Karol G’s tropical jam “PROVENZA” charted at No. 6, while regional Mexican artist Victor Cibrian’s “En El Radio Un Cochinero” came in on No. 9.

Other tracks included on this list were Future’s “WAIT FOR U” on No. 2, Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill” on No. 4, Kodak Black’s “Super Gremlin” on No. 5, SleazyWorld Go’s “Sleazy Flow (Remix)” on No. 7, Lil Baby’s “In A Minute” on No. 8, and Harry Styles’ “As It Was” on No. 10.

As far as the “Top 10 Songs – GLOBAL” chart goes, Bad Bunny’s “Tití Me Preguntó” took the lead. His smash hit was followed by his own “Me Porto Bonito” at No. 2. Shakira and Rauw Alejandro’s “Te Felicito” followed at No. 3, and Bizarrap and Quevedo’s “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52” came in at No. 4. Karol G’s “PROVENZA” also made this list at No. 6. This time, Bad Bunny also placed the No. 9 spot with “Ojitos Lindos” featuring Bomba Estéreo.

Other artists on the top global list include Khesari Lal Yadav and Shilpi Raj’s “ले ले आई कोका कोला” on No. 5, Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill” on No. 7, Harry Styles’ “As It Was” on No. 8, and Keisya Levronka’s “Tak Ingin Usai” on No. 10.
