2015 has been replete with Spanish remixes, and even more of Drake’s “Hotline Bling.” As the year rapidly draws to a close, it’s probably safe to say Fuego took the crown on both fronts, thanks to “Cuando El Suena Bling,” his Spanish take on the ubiquitous Drizzy hit.
We (and the rest of the world) went crazy for the near-literal cover way back in August, and now the Dominican crooner has released a video for the track. It’s pretty standard fare as far as lovelorn R&B videos go – guy loses girl, girl has fun without him, girl misses guy, guy gets girl back. At least it fits the song’s themes a lot better than, ahem, some of the other versions we’ve seen.
Speaking of everyone’s favorite honorary Dominican primo, Drake recently announced the opening of his flagship OVO store in Los Angeles, which opens tomorrow at 11 a.m. Check out this Lana Del Rey teaser promoting the store, which features a screwed version of – you guessed it – “Hotline Bling” and plenty of scenic L.A. vibes.
