La Bien Querida never skimps on the visual and she certainly never skimps on the actual songs. But there’s something different about the first two singles off her upcoming album, Premeditación. There’s a new heft to them, more certainty and gravitas. “Poderes Extraños” is the first single to get a video treatment, which appears to be the first part of a beautiful three-part mini film directed by Juanma Carrillo. “Alta Tensión” is a more somber option, not as pop fueled as its predecessor, but perhaps more striking.
