Arthur Hanlon has made a name for himself in the Latin music scene since the release of his 2001 album El Piano Amarillo. His acclaim as a pianist has led to collaborations with many superstars in the genre like Marc Anthony, Juanes, and Luis Fonsi. Hanlon recently featured on the song “Aura” from reggaetonero Ozuna’s latest album of the same name.

While Latin music is being dominated by an urbano sound, for his newest single “Como Suena El Piano,” Hanlon embraces the genre’s Caribbean roots with Orishas. The Cuban group’s line-up is unique with one singer and two rappers. As the guys in Orisha take turns spitting game to the woman of their eyes, Hanlon matches the swagger in their words with his passionate performance. The piano sounds like an aphrodisiac on this enticing collaboration.

In the music video for “Como Suena El Piano,” Hanlon and Orishas cruise around Cuba to capture the spirit of the song. The guys are dressed to the nines when they later hit up a club and cut a rug with beautiful local women. Hanlon lets loose on the piano and gets the party started. It’s a throwback affair served with plenty of sleekness.

Working with Arthur was incredible,” says Yotuel Romero of Orishas. “ The way he plays piano reminds me of Cuban percussion.”

“Como Suena El Piano” follows Hanlon’s previous singles “Si Tú Te Vas” with Fonseca and “Balada Para Adelina,” which have both racked up millions of views on YouTube.
