This month, we headed to Colombia and teamed up with El Freaky Colectivo, one of the most renowned DJ collectives of the southern global bass scene. El Freaky has been on our radar for a few years, and when it comes to the underground sounds of major cities like Bogotá, Medellín, Barranquilla, nobody knows the jams better than these guys.
Aside from their usual fare of multi-genre DJing, utilizing different rhythms from Latin America and Caribbean sound systems, they also produce their own hits, including their most recent endeavor with Jamaican dancehall artist Gyptian. For El Freaky, their barrio is far bigger than the city limits.
