Many of you have been craving some new Jamez Manuel for quite some time, so listen up. Over the past few years, the Chilean rapper and member of the Zonora Point crew has been busy with numerous collaborations, releases with the band, and his 2012 NAAFI-released EP Agua. Only now is he getting ready to drop his debut album via NWLA, tentatively titled Future v/s Classic.
The first preview we get is a ridiculously catchy track called “Quiere Con To’o,” a raunchy collaboration with Colombian sensation Jiggy Drama. The emcees thirst for the object of their affection over a Tane-produced beat that tips its hat to mainstream 00s hip-hop. Drama’s verses are rife with dirty puns and neatly delivered word play, while Manuel’s are more humorous, but equally explicit. Get ur freak on, people.
