King Doudou’s New Mix Will Transport You to Every Corner of Perreolandia

French producer King Doudou (known in previous incarnations as Hugo Douster) is waiting patiently at Paris’ Charles De Gaulle airport, ready to take you on a jet with his end-of-summer mixtape. Pack light, hydrate, and hurry, because the two of you have a lot of ground to cover. The set features Doudou’s royal dembow touch on tracks by PARTYNEXTDOOR, YG, Tomasa del Real, and up-and-coming hustler La Goony Chonga.

Expect to reap heavy frequent flier miles — Canicule Mix (which translates to “heat wave mix” in English) is a sharp panorama of reggaeton 2.0 from around the world, indicative of the genre’s growing reach in unexpected regions. Check sounds from Stockholm-based producer Dinamarca of Europe’s Staycore collective, as well as Spain’s Yung Beef, who makes an appearance with “Mami Matame,” twisted up by Mexico’s DJ Krizis. NAAFI producer Zutzut takes on the DR’s Los Teke Teke and Antwerp producer Faisal blesses us with an essential “Controlla” remix. Last but not least, the mix includes Doudou’s forthcoming collaborations with Rio de Janeiro’s Omulu, set to drop on Man Recordings soon.

You’re probably going to end up taking this flight a few times, especially if you and your crew are looking to head into autumn without sacrificing the heat.
