Ximena Sariñana and Elsa y Elmar Make Cameos in Little Jesus’ Epic “TQM” Video

Mexico City’s Little Jesus have become one of the country’s best and beloved bands in recent years, due to their constant touring and love for melody. From opening for The Rolling Stones at two sold-out arena shows, to their recurring presence in prestigious “Best of the Year” lists, LJ have continued to rise, with their recent Río Salvaje album, the follow-up to the stellar Norte, picking up even more steam.

Now they are coming for more, thanks to their latest video for their single “TQM.” It’s a long-take video set on a fictional French TV show from the 60s, where we see Little Jesus perform with an army of guitar-wielding musicians who join in to help them rock out at full volume.

Fittingly, “TQM” is a loving, 60s-style organ-drenched tune with sweet lyrics and a chorus full of fuzz, an arena-ready crowd pleaser that doesn’t resort to power ballad clichés.

Watch out for some stellar cameos from indie rock darlings like Ximena Sariñana and Elsa y Elmar.

Little Jesus’ Río Salvaje is out now on Nacional Records.
