Mexican collective ENSAMBLE‘s second anniversary party is right around the corner. They’ve already treated us by sharing the event’s stellar lineup and mammoth Tabula Rasa Volumen Uno compilation. Now they’re teasing us with exclusive mixes courtesy of the producers involved. They recently uploaded a 27-minute monster mix put together by Chilango artist No Light, who will be performing at the party on January 30. If it’s any indication of what the event has in store for us, we’d better start thinking about wearing some comfortable footwear.
No Light stuffed his mix with 11 techno-oriented tracks that are not for the faint of heart. The beats punch hard, seamlessly shifting between jungle, grime, and house. There’s an overall sinister atmosphere that will make you dance furiously and also stay alert, and includes music from the likes of Mutual Friend, Le Dom, NAAFI’s Omaar, and Lit Internet.
ENSAMBLE’s JAM005 party, featuring Pinch, Siete Catorce, Paperworks, Wasted Fates, A Secret System of Caves and Conduits, and No Light himself, will take place on January 30. Get hype.
