It’s tough being boss. Mexican producer Teen Flirt has a laundry list of responsibilities in running Finesse Records, the label that’s home to Latin American R&B upstarts like Jesse Baez and Girl Ultra. With all the weight of that crown, it’s been a year since he’s put out tracks that focus on his solo work. Luckily for fans, the drought is over.

Take a look at “Skin,” a track and video he put together with singer Andrés Nusser, of the now defunct Chilean band Astro. The song has a minimal, caressing backbeat, with just enough auditory information and slick R&B mattress to give you the shivers. The light touch is indicative of a producer hitting his stride, who doesn’t need to lay down drama to build a compelling composition. “Skin” is an early tease of a larger production that Teen Flirt has in the works — more details on that later, surely.

The accompanying video clip produced by Fantasma Films is a stunner in summer shades of sun and washed-out blue sky. The story follows a castaway love between a pilot in a dashing harness and alien in a similar Lost predicament with a light-refracting face.
