Wild Honey Croons In Spanish This Time Around

The last album released by Spanish musician Guillermo Farré as Wild Honey was 2013’s Big Flash, produced by Stereolab’s Tim Gane, and it was a beautiful collection of songs. Two years later, and after a 7″ on the Dedicatessen series put out by Jabalina, he’s back with a four-song 10″ called Medalla de plata.

He just shared opener “Tu propia montaña Sainte-Victoire,” a gorgeous little psych-pop piece like the ones only he knows how to make. And, surprise! He sings in Spanish! That’s new, since he’s got us used to hearing him croon in English.

Medalla de plata is out March 3rd on Lazy Recordings.
