Round 332 of Chicharito Might Be The Greatest Guy To Ever Live: Javier “Chicharito” Hernández is GRATEFUL to Louis van Gaal. He doesn’t resent the Manchester United boss one bit (remember when Hugo Sánchez went in on LVG for being a sinvergüenza? Yep.) WTF?

“Of course it is disappointing when somebody doesn’t give you their 100% confidence,” the Mexican international and current Bayer Leverkusen stud said in an interview with BBC, “but I said thank you to his face and I do it now because he was very honest in telling me that he would be happy to let me go if a good offer arrived, one that both the club and I liked.” Chichadios, you’re too good for us.

Chicharito also opened up about another former manager – the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson – describing him as “a very important person in my life.” (?). “For me, he’s the best. He gave me the chance to make my dream come true, to play first of all in Europe and then in one of the biggest clubs in all of fútbol history. So I’m very glad, I’m very happy.”

As if Chicharito’s bromance with David de Gea wasn’t cute enough, our favorite dude brought even more smiles to our faces when he said that he still texts Fergie quite often; “When we played in the Champions League, before the Atlético Madrid game (you know, when he did this), we texted. I saw him in two games before, and we have a lot of contact as well. When I was going to Madrid … I spoke with him in person, I went to his house. We keep in contact as well as we can, obviously he has a lot of things to do as well, his family, that’s why he retired. I’m in another country and trying to do my best as well.”

We love you, Chicharo. And we’ll miss you terribly this weekend too (he’s suspended for his side’s match at Augsburg on Saturday after collecting a fifth yellow in a 4-1 loss to Werder Bremen).
