Many soccer fans can’t help but stay glued to the TV in high pressure situations, no matter what they should be doing instead. From sneaking in looks at your phone stream while at the office, to scheduling events around big matches, soccer fans never want to miss their team’s biggest moments. This statement rang more true than ever on Wednesday, as a group of doctors looked up from a procedure inside of the operating room to watch Chile’s goalkeeper Claudio Bravo deny Portugal’s João Moutinho in the penalty shootout, helping to lead La Roja to the final of the Confederations Cup.

In an Instagram video posted by 101greatgoals, a full operating room of medical professionals can be seen taking a quick break to watch–and react to–the dramatic ending of Chile’s Confederations Cup clash with Portugal. It’s really something out of a movie.

You could hear a pin drop as the doctors and nurses watched Moutinho approach his penalty shot. After Bravo made his second of three heroic saves, the doctors and nurses jumped for joy, all  with surgical masks and scrubs on. A brief moment later, they were back to operating. Hopefully, the patient was a Chile fan.

As for the game itself, what was mostly a defensive chess match between both sides got heated down the stretch. After Francisco “El Gato” Silva was tripped up by Portuguese centre-back Jose Fonte in the box, no call was made, much to the dismay of the Chilean side. For some reason, the Video Assistant Referee was not consulted, despite it being a relatively-clear penalty.

Justice would be served just a bit later, as Bravo saved every shot he faced, while his teammates scored their three penalties to sink Portugal. Now, Chile will play the winner of the other semi-final on Sunday in the final; will it be a repeat of the exciting 1-1 draw against Germany from the group stage, or will Mexico get a chance to avenge their humiliating 7-0 defeat from last year’s Copa America Centenario?
