After a bit of back-and-forth, the 2016 Copa América Centenario is right back where it started. Today, Jürgen Mainka, Director of Marketing and Communications for CONCACAF, confirmed that the championship celebrating Copa América’s 100th year will take place in the United States.

CONCACAF and CONMEBOL directors met for hours and came to the conclusion that they shouldn’t change their original plan, according to the Associated Press. Mainka said that the meeting was productive, but he didn’t take any questions from the audience.
