It’s official: Juan Carlos Osorio has arrived, fam.

If you missed Osorio’s presentation and presser, you missed a glimpse into the new coach’s meticulous, detail-oriented style. It was evident through the very manner in which he responded to each and every question he received, leaving many impressed and eager to see what he has to offer:

Osorio spoke in depth about the 4-3-3 system with central attacking players that he particularly enjoys utilizing, and also highlighted Mexico’s attacking prowess and creativity as tremendous assets. He praised the Liga MX for its status as one of the premier leagues in the world – with great fields, elite stadiums, and a high level of fútbol – and stated that “we’re going to give it everything we’ve got so that we can accomplish the great dream that is qualifying for the World Cup.”

He even recalled his first relationships with Mexicans while working and living in New York in construction and the restaurant world. It was in those moments when he first recognized the true power and dedication of the El Tri faithful.

Osorio’s first squad list will be released on November 9, and we couldn’t be more psyched to see who makes the cut. (Could this be the return of Memo Ochoa?!)
