Here’s How You Can Win a Tour of Mexico City with Fútbol Star Memo Ochoa

If you’re a big fan of Liga MX club América goalie Guillermo “Memo” Ochoa, now is your chance to meet the star player and hang out with him in Mexico City.

Ever think you would get to take in the view of the city from the St. Regis Hotel with your favorite soccer player? In partnership with Expedia, the “Travel Like Memo” contest will select two people to join Ochoa in the capital city. He will have a curated itinerary to take the two winners to some of his favorite spots in town.

“I started playing soccer when I was ten years old, and since then, I’ve been traveling the world. Traveling is part of my profession,” Ochoa said in a press release. “I am proud to help Expedia introduce Mexico City to more people, to let travelers in on the secrets of the city that make it special and make it my home.”

The winner should show up to the meet-and-greet hungry because many of the stops on Ochoa’s itinerary are some of his favorite places to eat in Mexico City, including a Japanese restaurant called San-tō and restaurants like Remolkito and Tortas Don Polo. Ochoa would also like to take the two lucky winners to eat churros rellenos in Coyoacán and go to his favorite spot to watch a fútbol match whenever he’s not playing, Estadio Azteca.

The “Travel Like Memo” contest begins Tuesday (September 20). Fans can enter to win by engaging with the contest post on Expedia’s Instagram page.
