The Mexico-US Soccer Rivalry Is Heading to Theaters

No ticket? No worries – the fated October 10 matchup between Mexico and the U.S. at the Rose Bowl is coming to a theater near you!

That’s right, Fathom Events is teaming up with Fox Sports 1 to make sure that this highly anticipated match – the winner of which will earn CONCACAF’s berth in the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup – is broadcast live at over 200 movie theaters across the United States.

Mexico has won just two of their 17 games on U.S. soil since 2000. The Guardado and Márquez injuries make the road to victory that much more difficult, but El Tri will look to end this rough streak against the red, white, and blue on the big screen (and in Pasadena) in 15 days time. We’re already grinning from ear to ear at the prospect of watching and feeling like we’re pitchside while Chicharito nets a second-half hat-trick.
