Yesterday, we learned that the Copa América Centenario final will be played at MetLife Stadium, the home of the NFL’s New York Giants and New York Jets, located eight miles west of New York City. MetLife has played host to several big international matches since it opened in 2010, including an Argentina–Brazil throwdown that ended 4-3 in favor of the former witnessed by a crowd of 81,000+.

Today, the entire Copa Centenario schedule was released (start planning now, fam!). The USA will be a seeded team as tournament host, along with Argentina (top FIFA-ranked team), Brazil, and Mexico (the most decorated nations from CONMEBOL and CONCACAF in international competitions over the last 100 years). El Tri will feature in Glendale, AZ, Pasadena, CA, and Houston, TX; the USA will kick off in Santa Clara, CA, before heading to Chicago, IL, and Philadelphia, PA.

The quarterfinals are set to be held in Seattle, New York / New Jersey, Foxborough, and Santa Clara, with the semifinals moving on to Houston and Chicago. Two tournament spots are still up for grabs; on January 8, 2016, Panama will face Cuba and Trinidad & Tobago will go up against Haiti to determine the final slots.
