Current Copa America bad boy Arturo Vidal just agreed to a 4-year-deal with German powerhouse Bayern Munich. Guardiola’s team had been looking for a replacement for Frank Ribery, who’s been struggling with serious injuries over the past year and a half and whose future is not looking good.

Vidal began his career on Colo-Colo and played four years with German squad Bayern Leverkeusen before moving to Italian side Juventus, where he played four seasons and obtained the same number of Scudettos. In his last season, he came close to closing out his time at Juventus with a Champions League title.

According Vidal’s agent Fernando Felicevich, Bayern Munich have negotiated 43.7 million dollars to Juventus, and will be giving Vidal a salary of $140,000 dollars a week.

Maybe he’ll buy a new Ferrari….

El Rey Vidal’s German might be a little rusty, but from the soccer skills (and love of beer) he showed in the Copa America, he will undoubtedly adapt to the new country and team very quickly.
