New Weird Latin America is a Mexico City-based multi-disciplinary crew that emerged in 2011. More than a collective, NWLA is a big family of creative people who party together and live la vida loca. It was founded by beatsmith E.lebleu, photographer Cuauhtémoc Suárez, and design sensei Boncker. Ever since their beginnings, NWLA has pioneered leftfield Latin American sounds and Mexico’s millennial lifestyle.

They’re mostly recognized for collaborating with influential alternative Latin American artists way before they blow up. We’re happy to share this special playlist, which will give you a sense of who they are, some of the people who they’ve worked with, where they come from, and what they’re into as a squad.
