The Mexican Trident Leads Porto to Win Big in Primeira Liga Action

It’s no secret that FC Porto loves Mexico. In fact, the Portuguese side loves Mexico so damn much that it gets most of its offensive power from its El Tri trident, as was evident in today’s dominant 4-0 victory over Uniao da Madeira in Primeira Liga action.

Today marked the very first time that Jesús “Tecatito” Corona, Miguel Layún, and recent Porto Player of the Year award winner Hector Herrera were on the pitch for Porto at the same time. It should go without saying that we all shed a single tear watching this incredibly beautiful sight transpire before our very eyes.

HH was first to strike gold to our great delight, getting his head on the end of a solid cross into the box by none other than Miguel Layún (who had not one but two assists on the evening)! He put the Dragons up 1-0 in the 12th, and he may have just cut his run of tired form for good in the process:

With Porto already up 2-0 in the 22nd, Tecatito hit this ridiculous golazazazozo from the right wing to put his squad up 3-0. ???

Wow.

Something about watching this team just makes us so very happy. I love the boys, and I’m officially desperate to join the Dragon Force.
