Despite the ease of access to, and ever-growing number of major music festivals, city-based cultural series like New York’s Summer Stage or LA’s Levitt Pavilion concert series continue to be great summer entertainment options for those who may not feel like leaving the comfort of their own municipality.
Today’s summer announcement comes from BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival, which just released the lineup for their summer series. Headliners include Ibeyi, Cucho Valdés, Bomba Estéreo, Rich Medina, Dafnis Prieto, Riobamba, and many more.
The festival – which is now in its 41st season – runs from June 4 – August 10 at Prospect Park’s Bandshell.
