Carlos Reyes Rosado, better known by his stage name Farruko, has been sentenced to three years probation, and has been ordered to turn over $41,000.00 to authorities as part of his sentencing.

As reported on Wednesday, prosecutor Rosa Emilia Rodríguez recommended the “Krippy Kush” rapper be sentenced to 16 months in federal prison for an incident in April 2018, where the singer pleaded guilty to attempting to smuggle almost $52,000 in cash after performing with Jon Z and Noriel in Punta Cana.

He arrived at the court house earlier today, and told reporters, “You can never be too confident, because things can always change, but I feel very positive and calm.”

When asked about the possibility of jail time, the singer replied,”If I have to do time, I’ll do it, like a man.”
