In what amounts to monumental news for a generation of music fans, Rage Against the Machine seem to have announced a string of reunion dates – kicking off with a date in El Paso, Tx, and going on to headline Coachella.

The band took to their social media this morning to post an image of Chilean protesters, along with dates including the aforementioned El Paso date, as well as dates in New Mexico, Arizona, and two dates in Indo that align with 2020’s Coachella. According to Forbes, Wayne Kamemoto, an associate of the band, confirmed the dates are indeed accurate.

Rage Against the Machine called it quits for the last time in 2011, and have released 5 albums to date, including their iconic self-titled 1992 album, and 1996’s Evil Empire – which reached mainstream attention while primarily focusing on a politically-conscious message.

At at time when civil unrest is seemingly at an all-time high, and anti-immigrant sentiment and racism abound, we couldn’t think of a better time for Rage Against the Machine to come back and spread their ever-relevant message.
