Your calendar may read May 2021, but it might as well be May 2002–at least for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. It would appear that the pair have gone back to the early days of their courtship once again and have given us the biggest case of déjà vu in recent memory.
The two were spotted together in Miami over the weekend. It is the latest in the “are they” or “aren’t they together again” game. JLo and Affleck were photographed on Sunday afternoon (May 23). While they were not side by side, holding hand or (gasp) lockin’ lips, the duo do appear in the same photo. JLo can be seen walking down steps donning a smile as big as the Atlantic Ocean. Affleck is a few steps behind her.
Other photos show the two on the same balcony, but not at the same time. TMZ is reporting that Affleck flew to Miami to see his ex. Other reports have the two talking daily since their trip to Montana in early May which was the second such sighting. In late April, Affleck was spotted outside Lopez’s L.A. home. It would appear that Bennifer part 2 has gone from in development to in production, with this latest visit.
Other than revealing new music and a new beauty line, Lopez has been relatively quiet on social media.
Affleck and JLo called off their engagement in 2003. The pair have been friends since. It was reported that Affleck reached out to Lopez while she was in the Dominican Republic shooting her latest movie Shotgun Wedding. After Lopez and MLB hall of famer Alex Rodriguez called off their engagement the friends reconnected in person.
