Turns out Wilmer Valderrama (Encanto) wasn’t as unavailable as he said he was last month when asked what the chances were that he would reprise his That ’70s Show character Fez in Netflix’s upcoming series That ’90s Show.

“I’m a little busy now,” Valderrama said at the time. “But I support them so much. I’m rooting for them. I wish them nothing but the best. And if the timing is right, I’d never say no.”

On Saturday (April 30), it was officially announced that Valderrama would join former co-stars Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, and Laura Prepon on the new series. According to Deadline, the “legacy cast” will be making “special guest appearances” on the show.

Original cast members Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith were already on board to return as Kitty and Red Forman. That ’90s Show is set to follow the life of Leia Forman (Callie Haverda), the daughter of original characters Eric Forman (Grace) and Donna Pinciotti (Prepon).

During the eighth and final season of That ’70s Show, Fez and Jackie (Kunis) decide to see what would happen if they started dating. While fans will want to know if Fez and Jackie stayed together, they’re also hoping that writers finally let everyone know what country Fez is from. It would also be nice to get Fez’s last name since he’s the only main character that never shares it.

And even if the new show is set in the 1990s, there must be a way to get Fez back in a tight silk shirt and pair of bell-bottoms. Valderrama seems game since he recently teased his return to the cast by trying on one of his old outfits and posting it to social media.

Wilmer Valderrama’s Fez might have to trade in his disco moves for the Cabbage Patch, but we’re confident he’s great on the dance floor no matter what decade.
